T. K. Hodges
Caribbean carnival, digital printmaking
Medium & process
Released as limited-edition giclée prints on Hahnemühle archival paper, museum and gallery quality, signed, numbered, and sent with a certificate of authenticity.
Artist's medium: Photographic source material, digitally composed.
T. K. Hodges works with the visual language of Caribbean carnival: costume, procession, feathers, sequins, painted bodies, movement, and saturated colour. The work is built around the tension between spectacle and structure, reducing crowded festival scenes into strong silhouettes, layered shapes, and rhythmic fields of colour.
The carnival series draws from original photographic source material and digital composition, with individual figures and fragments isolated, simplified, and rebuilt into graphic images that retain the energy of the street without becoming documentary photographs. The resulting works sit somewhere between photography, poster art, and contemporary printmaking.
Each image is issued as a limited-edition archival giclée print.
